Switch from Third-Party Authentication to Email Address

If you registered an account using a third-party authentication method (e.g. Sign In with Apple, or Facebook), but would like to access your account using your email address, this article will explain how to do this.

Switch to Email Based Authentication

You can switch to email based authentication by ensuring that you have both an email address and password set.

When you register using a third-party authentication method (e.g. Sign In with Apple, or Facebook) we're typically able to grab an email address at that point, but this may not always be the case (e.g. due to privacy settings, etc.). Therefore, you may or may not already have an email address set at this point.

First, you need to set/update the email address you want to use to sign in with:
  1. Go to the More tab
  2. Tap "Account"
  3. Tap "Email Address"
  4. Set or update your email address
  5. Tap "Save"
  6. Input your current password (if requested)
Next, you need to set a password:
  1. Go to the More tab
  2. Tap "Account"
  3. Tap "Set Password"
  4. Reauthenticate using your third-party login method
  5. Input your new password
  6. Tap "Save"

You can now use your email address to sign into ProTracker Plus account.
